I have to confess that I love very often go to Ikea. Enter a few hours in the wonderful world of Swedish décor, amplified to all aspects of the sublime way of life of the Nordic country, makes me feel better.
I do not know if everyone would occur, but when I go to Ikea I feel like art. All so structured: the shopping list, raffia bags, the arrows on the floor which, like sheep following their pastor, the visitor astray. All as planned: the little pencil, underground paper, the location of the products have to go to pick up in store, including those that require a crane to move them.
Without going any further the refectory of Ikea is an example of civility Nordic. The self as orderly, the delights of Swedish cuisine, world-renowned, always clean tables because everybody has dirty tray-no place like McDonalds, and almost sepulchral silence in the hall of the universe Swedish decoration.
not be fooled, not everything is decorated in Ikea. In fact what it is to dive into the fascinating lifeworld of the average Swede. So the decor is the spearhead. Behind is the award-winning architecture, simpa kitchen, and even the excellent literature Nordic country. Hence, when the visitor thinks that what's going to Ikea to buy furniture is disposable, in fact what you are doing is buying a piece of Swedish lifestyle. Is not it wonderful?.
It shows in the hallways. People become more civil, less sharp, more focused. It is like going to those shops quickly, in which the personal leave everything turned upside down. Customers have a certain air of modernity. No missing gafapasta they feel in their amniotic fluid modernity cosmopolitan low cost. Nor will they miss the distinguished members of the middle class pretensions, also swollen with Scandinavians.
